Situated at 21 Ossington Avenue in the west end of Toronto, the goal of the project must utilize approximately half the building space to accommodate for a fashion studio, creating a Responsive Working Environment or a capacity of space to respond to the variety of needs required in sustaining productive and enjoyable working conditions.

Client Xue (Shirley) Liang has a background in graphic design, and is a self taught hand-fabrication wearable designer. Her designs challenge idea of “everyday waste” transforming upcycled and unconventional materials into opulent couture pieces. With her multiple partnerships with photographers, publications, and other creators, she needs a place for:
